Administration
Getting into the admin console
Who can use the admin console, how to sign in, and what's in it.
The admin console, also called the Control Center, is where an organization’s admins decide what nametags may show, organize people into groups, upload brand logos and backgrounds, and see how Nametags is being used.
Open it at admin.nametags.site. It runs in any modern browser.
Signing in
Click Sign in with your organization and sign in with your work account, the same way you sign in to the desktop app.
Only organization admins get in. If you sign in with an account that isn’t an admin, you’ll see Admins only. Ask an existing admin to give you access, then sign in again.
Getting the first admin. Admin access can’t be granted from inside the console yet. When your organization is set up, Nametags support makes your first admins. Contact support to add or remove an admin.
Who is in your organization
Everyone who signs in to Nametags with an email address on your organization’s domain joins your organization automatically, the first time they sign in. There are no invitations. People appear in the console once they’ve signed in at least once.
People who sign in with an address on another domain aren’t part of your organization, and your rules don’t apply to them.
