Backgrounds and logos

Your organization's library of brand images, and what each one is used for.

Backgrounds and Logos are two libraries of approved images. You upload them once, then use them in templates.

Uploading

  1. In Backgrounds or Logos, click Upload background or Upload logo.
  2. Under Who it’s for, choose Whole organization or a group.
  3. Drag an image onto the dialog or click to choose one:
    • Backgrounds: PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 3 MB. Use a 16:9 image; 1920 × 1080 works well.
    • Logos: PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to 2 MB. Use a square image with a transparent background.

Both libraries can be searched and filtered by who they’re for. Choose Preview from an image’s ⋯ menu to see it full size.

How they’re used

A background or logo in the library doesn’t reach anyone until a template uses it. People can’t browse the library from their own app.

To set one logo that everyone always carries, rather than for a period, upload it as the Logo default on the Policy page instead.

Deleting

Choose Delete from an image’s menu. Deleting can’t be undone.

  • A background: anyone currently using it goes back to no meeting background.
  • A logo: any template using it stops changing anyone’s logo. The template keeps its dates and its background.

Uploaded images are stored so that the Nametags apps can load them without signing in. Anyone with an image’s exact address can open it, but the addresses can’t be guessed. Don’t upload anything confidential.
