Administration
People and groups
Find people, sort them into groups, and edit someone's nametag.
The Groups section has a panel for your groups and one for your people.
Groups exist so that different teams can have different rules. Sales might carry the company logo while engineering doesn’t, for example. Each person is in one group or none. Admins choose who is in which group; nothing assigns groups automatically.
Groups
- Create a group: type a name in New group name and click Create group.
- Rename a group: click its name, change it, and press Enter or click Save.
- Delete a group: open its ⋯ menu and choose Delete. Its members go back to having no group. This can’t be undone.
- See a group’s tag: choose Preview from its menu. The Preview panel shows sample details with that group’s rules applied.
You can search and sort groups by Name or Members, and tick several to delete them together.
People
The People panel lists everyone in your organization, with their Name, Email, Role (Member or Admin) and Group.
- Find someone: search by name or email, or filter by role or group.
- Move someone to a group: pick the group in their Group column.
- Move several people at once: tick them, choose a group in the bar that appears, and click Move.
- See someone’s tag: choose Preview from their ⋯ menu. You’ll see their actual nametag, including any template that’s running now.
- Delete someone: choose Delete from their menu. They’ll get a new, empty account the next time they sign in. This can’t be undone, and you can’t delete your own account.
Editing someone’s nametag
Click a person’s name to open their profile. There you can:
- Change their Group.
- Edit their Nametag fields: the same name, title, company, department, logo and placement they see in the app. Fields your policy locks are greyed out and show the policy’s value. Fields your policy hides aren’t shown.
- Click Save changes to save, or Revert to discard your edits.
The Preview beside the fields shows the result.
